Norman J. Bizon, PA-C
Norman Bizon grew up in Canada. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Alberta and a Physician Associate certificate from the Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.
Before joining Lifescape, Norman spent ten years as a Physician Assistant at the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale. There, he received extensive experience in neurosurgery, plastic and reconstructive microsurgery, orthopedic and hand surgery, and wound care. He has a special interest in treating complaints of the hand, elbow, and shoulder.
Norman has been a lecturer and preceptor with Phoenix area Physician Assistant schools and a speaker at state and national PA meetings. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Arizona State Academy of Physician Assistants and holds national certification with special recognition for proficiency in primary care and surgery.
Norman is active in community outreach. He has volunteered with the Special Olympics, homeless teens, and overseas in the Third World. He also has interests in travel medicine, runs LifeScape's Travel Clinic, and is a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine. Norman is a proud and busy father of three young children and, when he has time, enjoys photography, music, and outdoor activities.
