Access Options
Your time and convenience are important to us,
therefore, LifeScape offers innovative, patient-centered ways to obtain
medical care.
Open-Access Scheduling: We will make every effort to seeyou on the day
you contact us rather than have you schedule an appointment far in advance.
We will do our best to have you seen by your provider of choice.
Extended Hours Appointments: For the convenience of those whose
schedules do not permit 9-5 appointments, we offer appointments as early as
7:00 am to as late as 5:45 pm Monday through Thursday and as late as 1:45 pm
on Fridays, including the lunch hour. We also offer Saturday appointments from 9:00 am until noon. Additional fees or higher co-pays may be charged for
extended hours care, depending on your insurer's requirements.
Home Visits: For those patients who have difficulty getting to the
practice because of illness or infirmity, we will schedule home visits.
Scheduled Telephone Appointments: Simple questions, test results, and
minor follow-up issues are handled through the nurse or physician for no charge.
Increasingly, however, patients want the convenience of telephone medicine
to have new issues diagnosed and other complex problems managed. Therefore, for your convenience, we offer the option of
scheduled telephone appointments for issues that require medical evaluation
and management or time intensive counseling. We charge $25 for up to 15 minutes of
telephone time and $50 for longer calls. This charge is not usually covered by insurance. Scheduled
phone appointments can save you from playing frustrating “phone tag” with
nursing staff, a long commute, childcare, and co-pays. If your time and
convenience are worth at least $25, then this option may be for you.
